If one bun is fun, a pair makes a party, right? Working your hair into this double bun style will give the impression of greater hair volume at the back, while still keeping things under control. This is a sleek yet unusual style that’s perfect for the office or a formal dinner. Soften the look by letting your bangs hang loose.

HAIR EXTENSIONS NEEDED?
A hair stick pushed through both buns would make this style even more unique, and a pretty hair clip on the side of your head would also be an attractive addition.
For extra quirk, try placing the buns next to one another, or even on a diagonal. You could also try other bun styles, like the twist and pin or sleek bun.

HOW TO GET IT DOUBLE BUN
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bobby pins
1). Start by brushing your hair and twisting your bangs or front layers off your face and pinning them back with a bobby pin into a small quiff.
2). Combine the quiff with the top section of your hair, taken from above ear level.
3). Twist this top section of hair around and into a bun at the back center of your head. Pin in place with bobby pins.
4). Gather the rest of your hair and twist into a second bun just below the first bun.
5). Pin the second bun in place with bobby pins. Use a few pins to connect the buns and secure them together.
TOP TIP : By pinning the two buns together you not only keep the style looking neat, you also add structure and strength to the buns themselves. Pin through the middle of the top bun and down into the bottom bun, or pin sideways and diagonally through the two. And remember: double the bun, double the fun!
