If you find the French twist difficult to master, this mini bun hairstyle is the perfect solution. The buns are easier to form without any assistance and will hold your hair well all day long. A row of mini buns down the back of your head in a straight line offers an elegant upstyle with a little edge that works from day to night.
IDEAL HAIR LENGTH
HAIR EXTENSIONS NEEDED?
You could pretty this hairstyle up with a jeweled pin, though this style doesn’t require much adornment. A ribbon threaded around the buns and tied in a bow at the bottom would be a sweet touch.
For long hair, braid each section before pinning into a mini bun. You can do as many or as few buns as you like to suit your hair type.

HOW TO GET IT
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bobby pins
- Hair elastics (optional, best for long/thick hair)
1). Brush your hair and pin back your bangs, or the front section of your hair, then secure with a bobby pin. This style looks good with a little height.
2). Take a small section from each side of your hairline and bring them together into a twist at the back of your head.
3). Twist the section around your finger and pin into a small bun. Secure with bobby pins.
4–5). Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all your hair is twisted and pinned into a line at the back of your head.
TOP TIP : If you have long or thick hair, secure each section in a ponytail with a hair elastic before twisting into a mini bun.
