1–2. Gather all the hair to one side. Split the hair into two equal sections and start by twisting them in the same direction. It doesn’t matter which direction, but they must be twisting the same way. I am twisting mine toward my face.
3–4. To create the rope braid, twist the two sections together in the opposite direction. I am twisting mine away from my face because I twisted the individual sections toward my face.
5. Once you reach the end, tie off the braid with a clear elastic. Pancake these pieces by spreading the twists.
Tip : If you want more volume, tease the sections before you begin twisting.
